I t was the 5th week of teaching practice. Altogether everything went smooth in this week. On Monday, Harsha Ma'am came to observe the class. It was a part of optional visit. I took the 2nd LP from the chapter 'The Trio' and given the activity -characteristic sketch of Rajam. Students dynamically discussed in groups and provided correct answers. I think I was improved from the first spot of teaching practice. I rectified my corrections which was pointed out by Harsha ma'am in the first round of observation. I followed the steps more sequentially and implemented it effectively. Even though, Ma'am pointed out some areas to be taken care of. Mostly, she reviewed with a positive feedback this time and awarded B+ grade.  In this week, I completed 4 lesson plans. I have taken Direct instruction model on the topic 'Active and Passive Voice' in 9th standard. It was a great task to implement models in classroom. I think, I effectively transacted the session. It was the fourth week of teaching practice. By completing these much days I think ,I was more into the realm of teaching. The school days usually start with morning prayer and assembly was conducted on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On each day, it was hosted by each class. The school organized counselling classes for 7,8,9 and 10th class during various days of the week. The class was led by Ms. Aleena. Students interacted well in the session. Vivekananda LP School, English medium has organized a program for their students "ENGLISH CARNIVAL". The school officially invited me and Aishwarya as their judges for evaluating the performance of their kids. It was a noteworthy experience for me. I think it was one of the most memorable day in my life. Sitting in the middle of a bunch of small kids and seeing their innocent smiles was truly adorable. All participants performed certainly well. The second week of the teaching practice was fully equipped with both academic and non-academic activities. In this week, I completed 5 lesson plans. Altogether I wrapped up 10 lesson plans. All the classes were activity based. I performed the classroom activities like notice preparation, poster making, news report, conversation etc.. Students are extremely active and power packed. They actively response in the classes. They usually seek for activities.  The school conduct assembly on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. All classes take their turn in organizing the assembly. They innovatively put forward many ideas to make the assembly more interesting. Most of the students are talented and they don't have stage fear. The school assembled PTA meeting for 8,9 and 10th classes on this week. The teachers ensured that every parents have attended the meeting. Comparing to the first week of teaching practice, it was indeed a productive week. The classes on this week started on tuesday. As usual, the day begin with assembly. We a group of 4 trainees were assigned to Vivekananda H S for Girls, kadampanad. The entire week school activities were more academic oriented. Particulary no activities were taken place on these days. SPC, NCC training classes were taken place as per the school schedule. My assigned class was 9 A. On Tuesday, I put up an introduction about the unit "Enlightening Souls". Next day onwards, I started taking classes on the chapter ' The Happiness Machine'. I completed 4 lesson plans throughout this week. All of them were activity based. To be honest, my students are really cooperative and responding in classes. They are actually ready to hit the activities. As compared to their classes, dealing with activity cards, charts, videos, pictures etc.. make their classes more interesting. The first week of teaching practice totally provided me with a handful of experience. Vivekananda H S for Girls, kadampanad was a venue for conducting sub district school kalolsavam. The program was scheduled from Nov 15 - 19, 2022. So that , In this week I got only the first day for taking class. I got the opportunity to complete 2 LP this week. Students were cordially engaged in the classes and activities conducted. This week was more concerned with cultural programs of kalolsavam. I got an opportunity to observe how these  events are arranged and conducted during this time, the role of teachers in bringing students to such programs, how they are taken care of. It was truly a best experience for me.
