WEEKLY REFLECTION ( 31 JULY - 4 AUGUST, 2023)

I am grateful to write a blog about the last week of teaching practice and thereby wrapping up the second phase of teaching practice. It was indeed the best times of B.ed curriculum. The last week was in a rollercoaster of emotions.

About the academics, I completed 30 lesson templates before time, conducted achievement test and also rectified their doubtful areas in this week. The core event of the week was the official inauguration of Malayala Manorama "VAYANA KALARI" in school campus. The event was officially inaugurated by the Circulation Manager of Malayala Manorama Sri. Reji. The event was gracious with the presence of Ratheesh Sir ( Head of Victory Tuition Centre), Headmaster, Convenor of the program, PTA president. the representatives addressed the students and other teachers. The main goal of the event was to promote newspaper reading in day to day life amidst of a technological era. SPC day was celebrated in school campus followed by flag hoisting and parade.

As it was the last weekend, it was both happy and sad. We distributed sweets to teachers, staffs and non- teaching staffs. We also distributed chocolates to our dearest students. All students wrote their feedbacks and gave it to me. Most of the students were actually crying as we are leaving. We had taken photos with HM, teachers and students. I went to each and everyone to thank personally for extending their support to complete my training period. Last time, I know that I would definitely come back for the second phase. But this time, I know that this is the last phase of teaching practice in B.ed curriculum.  Saying farewell was bit emotional but stepped down from the school with a hand full of laughs, smiles, cries and so many beautiful memories. I never forget the time I spend with my students. The influence of my students really molded me to become a good teacher in many instances. The love of my students are irreplaceable in my life. The experience I had got from them owes a piece of my heart.
