ART AND AESTHETIC EDUCATION WORKSHOP

Today our college organized an Art and Aesthetic Education Workshop. As the part of the B.ed curriculum, we were instructed to do so. As usual, the day started with the assembly conducted by Commerce Department. Our Prinicipal Nimmi Ma'am gave an introductory class about the objectives, relevance and purpose of the art workshop. Many of the students have different artistic talents in the college. So, the students itself were assigned to do the demonstration of different items. The demo was started by Archana presenting a dream catcher. It was a very nice and beautiful class. As it is a long process to do with thread, it was bit time consuming. Secondly, Reshma presented an origami work. If we have good concentration, we can simply do it. She presented amusingly. Then, Aiswarya and Gouri did a demo of some items using waste materials. It was really creative and can be done in a very short time. Later, Vanadana taught us about glass painting work. Then. I took the session of bottle art. I personally enjoyed doing the demo of bottle art. I hope they all liked my session. Then, Alka did a demo of clay modelling. Finally, Devu presented some items using matchstick. It was creative and artful. After the lunch break, everyone started making these items by themselves. The college provided the required materials for doing all these items. As the name of the workshop, the afternoon session was colorful and lit. The room was fillled with color papers, paints, threads, bottles and so on. It was really alluring to see my dear friends engaged in doing some artistic works. Everyone tried their best to produce creative items. They really showcased their talents. It was instructed to do five products by each student. Most of them completed the task and kept all the items together in the shelf. The output of that frame was magnificent. The day was totally productive and we succesfully completed the workshop.
