CIPHER : MATHS ASSOCIATION INAUGURATION

The formal inauguration of the Maths Association 2021-2023 'CIPHER' was done by Suraj P Satheesh- Founder of ThinkNow at the college seminar hall on Thursday 16th December 2021 via online mode. It was followed by a session of games, dance and other activities. The inaugural speech by Mr. Suraj was mind blowing. Our principal Nimmy Ma'am revealed the official logo of Maths Association. The cultural events started with a fabulous welcome dance. It was followed by a melodious duet song. Later, they arranged a game session through maths quiz. Students answered the questions were got their luck to do task. Each one of them performed well and it was a fun session. Finally, the programs ended with a vibrant dance by the girls of maths department. The session was held at the college seminar hall of H.H.M.M.II Training College, Adoor between 2.30 and 3.30. In one word, the program was astonishing.

E- CONTENT DEVELOPMENT AND CURRICULUM TEXT MATERIAL PREPARATION WORKSHOP

The workshop on digital content creation was led by Dr. Naushad A. Salim Sir on March 30, 2023. The purpose of the event was to give the student instructors the tools they would need to acquire the E-Content development skills that are now required in the modern digital educational environment. Naushad Sir began by learning the fundamental digital skills necessary to produce a brief topic in doc, jpg, or pdf format. The workshop went to higher degrees of digital content generation using programmes like Poster my Wal, Merge Pdf, You Cut, A-Z screen recorder, etc. with these initial concepts as a foundation. With the aid of these apps, sir made it easier for us to comprehend the variety of applications that may be incorporated into the field of education, which is currently a necessity. After the lesson, sir instructed us to use GroupWise to create a video using a topic we had chosen from the high school textbooks.

ANAGNOSI 2K22: READIND DAY CELEBRATION

  English Association of H.H.M.M. II Training College, Adoor conducted National Reading Day titled "ANAGNOSI" on 20th June 2022. The  program started with prayer and it lasted about one hour. One representative from the department talked about the importance of reading day. Vinoy conducted quiz session regarding books, authors and famous quotes. Devanandana compered the whole session. The interesting and the most engaging part of the program was role play done by the department. Nitya, Aiswarya, kripa presented the roles of Jane Austen, K R Meera and Ann Frank. I role played the beloved literary figure of kamal Surraiya. It was a great experience. Some activities were conducted like Reading test, Spelling test and Treasure hunt. Students actively participated in all programs. Prizes were distributed to the winners.
