Today, our college celebrated the 75th Independence day of India. At 9 AM, the programs kicked off with flag hoisting at the ground. The official function started at 10.00 AM with morning prayer. The college choir singed a beautiful patriotic song. Later, a group of students perfomed a skit portraying the clutches faced by Bharat mata and the present scenario of our country from political perspective. Competitions were started by 10.30 AM. Members of three houses actively participated in all events. Three patriotic songs were performed from three houses. Then, Extempore taken place. The most power packed event of the day was fancy dress. Around 15 students participated in this event. I played the role of Lakshmi Bhai, Jhansi ki Rani. I dressed like her and it was amazing. I secured second prize. Notable Independence fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Mangal Pandey, Begum Hazrat, Bal Gangadar Tilak, Velu Thampi Dalawa were presented on stage by many students. H. H. M. M. II Training College, Adoor celebrated the first phase of 75th Independence Day Celebration. The programs were conducted in the afternoon session. The events taken place was essay writing, poetry writing, quiz prelims and poster making. Each and everyone enthusiastically participated in all programs. Poster making competition was a group item. Each house has a group consisting of 5 members and they all cordially performed. Quiz prelims was conducted on the basis of  Independenece Day. The union memebers took the intiative to conduct all these items effectively.   

The Social Science optional celebrated Hiroshima Nagasaki Day (Aug 9) on Aug 10, 2022 along with the  assembly. The importance and the after effects of such an event were narrated through the program. Quiz competition were conducted based on this topic. The prizes of Haiku competition and caption giving contest were distributed. The significant mark in the world history, Hiroshima and Nagasaki day were once again remembered through this program.

Micro teaching classes were taken place on 27th and 29th July 2022. Each student was assigned to take two skills. Everyone prepared lesson plans and presented their skills effectively. Teacher and two student trainees observed each skill presented. Some students got re-teach inorder to improve their potential in using the skill. It was a new experience as a teacher trainee. 

H.H.M.M.II Training College, Adoor organized sports day on 21st July 2022. Both indoor and outdoor games were incorporated as events like carroms, chess, shuttle run relay, skipping, badminton and yoga competition. First three prizes of each event were noted and the points were distributed to three houses. Each student have to participate atlesat in one event. Each and everyone actively enaged in all the events. Amidst of the busy academics, it was indeed a leisure day.
