H.H.M.M.II Training College has organized a field trip on 23 February 2022. The main destination of the trip was Kerala Arts and Crafts Village, kovalam and Poovar. All the things were preplanned effectively. So, the one day trip went as per the plans. Students and teachers departured from the college by 6.30 AM in the morning in a tourist bus. We had our breakfast from kottarakara and from there, other teachers and students were joined with us. We reached KACV by 10.00 AM. The event coordinator Surjith Sir and the team hertly welcomed us to their place. The beauty of the place can't be described in words. It was overwhelming and mindblowing. Students split into 5 to 6 group comprising 10 members each. A lead was allocated to each group for guiding us. KACV is spread around 9 acres. There are a lot of stuffs to experience and observe like Aranmula kanadi making, Kerala traditional handicraft production, displays of handicraft items, stills and demonstrations.   The Natural Science association "PETRICHOR" was inagurated on 18th February 2022 at the college seminar hall. The program was officially inagurated by the teacher, poetess Smt.Savitha Vinod via online. The logo was released by our prinicipal Nimmy Ma'am. They used eco friendly materials to decorate the stage and hall instead of ballons and plastic items. As the name of the department, they conducted the program in an eco friendly way. Film actors Tiny Tom and Aravind sent their greetings to the association. Teachers also gave felicitation address. The programme started with a dance tribute to the late violinist Bala Bhasker. They also presented a documentary regarding the conservation of nature. Another highlight of the event was drama performed by the department. It strongly conveyed a social message and also was a fabulous entertainer. At last, they all together performed a dance. In whole, the entire programme was excellent.

Today was the second day of the online educational workshop. The class started with the morning assembly conducted by Maths department. The first session was taken by Dr. Sabuji Sir on the topic "Skill of using Blackboard". As the title says, he used blackboard for the transaction of class. It was both interesting and an effective class. The second session was handled by Dr. Praveena Ma'am on the topic "Skill of Demonstration and Skill of Reinforcement". She presented PPT slides while taking class. It was an interactive and eloquent session. Students responded to her questions effectively. The third session was taken by Dr. Divya Ma'am. She dealt with the topic "Skill of Probing Questions and Skill of Fluency in Questioning". Due to some technical tissues, she has already sent the PPT slides in our whatsapp group before the class itself. It was also a delightful class. Today our college H.H.M.M.II Training College conducted an online educational workshop on the topic: MICRO TEACHING . They planned to execute this program on two days. Today was the first day of the programme. As usual the day started with assembly conducted by English Department. During the assembly, the students and teachers observed a one minute silent prayer in rememberance of the music legend Lata Mangeshkar. Our principal Nimmy Ma'am gave a brief introduction about the program. Our faculties, Dr. Parveena Ma'am and Soorya Ma'am were the program coordinators. The introductory session was handled by Roy Sir, Prinicpal of H.H.M.M. II Training College, Kottarakara. He talked to us about micro teaching in whole as a general introduction. He handled the session for about one hour. After a short break, Dr. Johnson Sir discussed the topic "Skill of Introducing a Lesson & Skill of Stimulus Variation".
