  Christmas is the season of joy, happiness, gift giving and families getting united. The Christmas celebration YULE 2K21 of H.H.M.M.II Training College took place on 23rd December 2021. The program started with prayer by the college choir. Rev. Fr. Binson George(Vice President, MGOCSM Unit) did the welcome speech. Our Principal Nimmi Varghese Ma'am did the presidential address. Along with the celebration, our college inaugurated the MGOCSM Unit. Rev. Fr. George Varghese (Former Professor, St.Thomas Theological Seminary, Nagpur) officially inaugurated the unit. Dr. J. Johnson Sir (HOD, English Departmnet) and Dr. Chitra S, Staff Secretary, Dep of Social Science) offered the felicitation address. The formal section wrapped up by 12 pm. ESPERANZA , the inaugural function of the English Literary Association of H.H.M.M. II Training College was conducted on 9th December 2021. The association was officially inaugurated by Dr. Joji John  Panickar, (Director, IQAC C.M.S College, kottayam). The function was intiated with a prayer song by the students of the department. Nithya emceed the whole function. S Divya welcomed the key persons, principal, teachers and students. Later, DR, Joji Sir inaugurated our function via online. He gave a marvelous and inspiring speech. Sai Swetha, a teacher who came into limelight through victers channel during covid time with her unique way of teaching style sented her greetings for our function via online. The formal inauguration of the Maths Association 2021-2023 'CIPHER' was done by Suraj P Satheesh- Founder of ThinkNow at the college seminar hall on Thursday 16th December 2021 via online mode. It was followed by a session of games, dance and other activities. The inaugural speech by Mr. Suraj was mind blowing. Our principal Nimmy Ma'am revealed the official logo of Maths Association. The cultural events started with a fabulous welcome dance. It was followed by a melodious duet song. Later, they arranged a game session through maths quiz. Students answered the questions were got their luck to do task. Each one of them performed well and it was a fun session. Finally, the programs ended with a vibrant dance by the girls of maths department. The session was held at the college seminar hall of H.H.M.M.II Training College, Adoor between 2.30 and 3.30. In one word, the program was astonishing.

It's so cool to start my first blog talking about a blog workshop itself. As usual, the day started with morning assembly at college. Today, the college organised a workshop for students regarding blog  creation. The class was taken by a resource person: Hari Sir. The class lasted till evening. He took the class in a very informative way. As some students are new to this platform, this workshop helped them in many ways. Morning session was about the theory side. Afternoon session dealt with real part of the workshop. All students created their own blogs. Sir trained us with the baby steps in blog creation. It was a great and interesting day.
